Our Story
Pyshala was born from a simple belief — quality tech education should be free and accessible to every Indian student, regardless of their background or location.
I'm Aditya Halbe, a self-taught developer from Bhopal. In 2020, I built the first version of this platform called Datapedia, which enrolled 140+ students learning Python, SQL, and Data Science. That experience taught me how hungry students are for quality, practical tech education.
In 2025, I rebuilt the platform from scratch with modern technology — Django, Tailwind CSS, AWS cloud infrastructure, Docker, and an AI-powered tutor — and renamed it Pyshala. "Py" for Python, "Shala" for school in Hindi.
Pyshala is completely free. No paywalls. No subscriptions. Just pure learning.
